2 cups of warm water

2 teaspoons active dry yeast

3 tablespoons sugar

4 cups all-purpose flour

 

1 teaspoon salt

1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted

1 cup grated cheddar cheese (or mozzarella/parmesan mix)

1 egg, beaten (optional for egg wash)

Instructions

Activate yeast: Mix warm water, yeast, and sugar. Let it sit for 5-7 minutes until frothy.

Combine dry ingredients: Whisk flour and salt.
