Never place your bed like this: myth or reality according to Feng Shui?

With a serious expression, she claims that a certain bed position attracts poverty and failure. Enough to make you shudder… or roll your eyes. However, behind this somewhat alarmist message lies a well-known ancient philosophy: Feng Shui. So, should we really reconsider the location of our bed to sleep better and attract abundance, or is it simply a revived modern superstition?

The famous position to avoid according to Feng Shui

In Feng Shui principles, there is one configuration that is particularly discouraged: placing the bed so that the feet point directly towards the door. This arrangement has a very evocative name: the “coffin position.”Why such a radical name? Traditionally, in some Asian cultures, the deceased are transported feet first. Sleeping in this position would therefore symbolize a loss of vital energy, called Chi, during sleep. Put that way, it doesn’t sound very reassuring.

What this position is supposed to cause

According to Feng Shui practitioners, sleeping with your feet toward the door has several negative consequences. Energy flows in and out of the room too quickly, preventing the body from resting completely. The result: restless sleep, persistent fatigue, and a feeling of being unable to fully recover.
